Today marks the 27th Anniversary of the Blue Jays clinching their very first playoff berth. Affectionately known as the “Drive of 85”, Toronto won their first division title and went on to the ALCS to play the Kansas City Royals.
They lost the ALCS in a heartbreaking fashion 4-3. Nonetheless, the Drive of ‘85 paved the way for many great Blue Jays squads to come.
