The Blue Jays Playoff Drought Continues
I hate to be the bearer of bad news, folks … but with the Washington Nationals winning tonight, they clinched their first playoff spot and ended their 30 year playoff drought.
That means the Blue Jays now own the third longest playoff drought in baseball at 18 years. That’s second only to the Pittsburgh Pirates at 19 years, and the Kansas City Royals at 26 years.
