Happy Retirement to Mark DeRosa! We wish him best of luck in his future endeavor as a barber who only gives one kind of haircut - the “Colby”.
#BlueJays nominated for the 2013 MLB #Gibby Awards, all in one handy list. Other teams are on their own when it comes to handy lists on the Tumblr.
Congrats to Edwin Encarnacion, Brett Lawrie, and Munenori Kawasaki for making the short lists. Condols to Colby Rasmus for being robbed of chance at the glamour and cachet of being a Gibby Nominee.
Discerning baseball fans (and people with too much free time on their hands) may vote as many times as they want until Dec. 1 by clicking this link http://mlb.mlb.com/mlb/awards/y2013/gibbys/
Winners will be presented their GIBBY trophies and other frou-frou during December’s Winter Meetings in Orlando.
