A Few Blue Jays Fun Facts
A fun fact for Blue Jays fans - did you know that the Toronto Blue Jays are only 1 of 2 teams in the Major Leagues that do not feature a letter in their cap logo?
The only other team that doesn’t have a letter on their cap is the Houston Astros.
In addition to that, the Blue Jays are also only 1 of 3 teams in all of baseball whose team name is two words.
The only other two are the Boston Red Sox and the Chicago White Sox.

The Adam Lind Situation is Like an Onion …
Today it was revealed that Adam Lind was outrighted to Triple A and is now officially off the Blue Jays 40 man roster.
There was much debate last week whether or not Lind was put on waivers or not, and it turns out he was.
As the great George Costanza would say, this whole Adam Lind situation is just like an onion … the more layers you peel, the more it stinks.

I had no idea, but apparently Stephan Moccio of Canada’s Got Talent fame conducted the orchestral arrangement for the new Blue Jays theme on Rogers Sportsnet.
I just assumed it was some stock music, but it makes me appreciate it even more that Sportsnet went to the trouble of composing a theme song for the Blue Jays broadcast.

Even when he crushes a 400ft+ (122m+) home run to left center.
I can’t wait to see those pearly whites in Toronto very soon!
